AJ's Wings from Bermuda Charters

Captained by Anthony Mello, AJ's Wings is a 45-foot Gulfstar sloop available for charter or private boat trips in Bermuda's waters. Born in Bermuda, Anthony is vastly experienced in sailing and boating. He was trained by the U.S Coast Guards for search and rescue operations.
He himself won many boat races including Marlboro 400 - Bermuda’s first International Powerboat Race in the 1970’s, and Round the Island Powerboat Race. He also worked with the crew of the movie The Deep that was filmed in Bermuda. The yacht AJ's Wings has a center cockpit with a bimini shade allowing very easy access all around the top deck without any obstacles.
If it rains, the cockpit can be completely covered. The boat has a swim ladder that enables easy access to the water for swimming and snorkeling. The boat is also powered by a 50hp Perkins Diesel Engine that comes into play when sales are down. At the lower deck, there are air-conditioned sleeping provisions for six persons.
There are two staterooms and a salon there. The lower deck is equipped with TV, DVD, Stereo, dining table, galley with propane stove, oven, 12 volt fridge, microwave, water heater and a pantry. A BBQ Grill is also provided.
Onboard electronics and safety equipment include Auto-pilot, Compass, GPS, VHF, Wind/Depth/Speed Indicators, Radar, SSB and EPIRB, safety gears like a six-man life raft, fire extinguishers, life sling, MOB Pole, flare kit, strobe light, PFD's, sea anchor etc.
The boat can accommodate up to 25 persons. You can plan different types of chartered cruise in this boat including Sailing and Snorkeling cruises, Sunset Cocktail Cruises, Moonlight/Full Moon Cruises, Dinner Cruises etc. For dinner, they can organize BBQ on the deck.
The captain is licensed to take the boat offshore beyond the reef line. This is a great advantage with this cruise, and you can go for a full day cruise in the open ocean. During March and April, you can also charter this boat for
Whale Watching.
While they serve food and beverages at additional cost, the choices could be limited and you can bring your own food.
Indicative Rates
$650 for three hours (for up to 6 persons), $150 each additional hour, $30 each additional person (up to 25 persons). $1,000 flat rate for the day (maximum 8 hours). Whale Watching Tour (in season) is $1000 flat rate for the day (limited to 8 hours max). Rates do not include food.
