Pearl is a new restaurant owned by the Yellowfin group and located above the
Port O' Call restaurant on Front Street Hamilton. The restaurant specializes in traditional Sushi dishes with modern innovations. The chef has wide experience from many places all over the world.
The inside decor is simple and there are plasma TVs so that you can see your food being cooked. There is also a limited counter seating. But the best is the balcony overlooking the beautiful
Hamilton Harbor. There is also a nice bar that serves nice selection of wine and cocktails.

For appetizers, try out the spicy hamachi tartar with yellowtail, scallions, almonds and avocado, or the seared beef tenderloin with snow peas and shitake Mushroom confit.
The other popular ones include miso glazed scallops, tuna tartar, shrimp or vegetable tempura, and soft shell crab tempura. In salads, one of the favorites is the Karai Wafu Salad with Shrimp, Tuna, Salmon, Octopus, Crispy Crabstick, Green Seaweed, Bell Peppers and Crispy Glass Noodles. Seared Beef Tenderloin Salad is also prepared quite well.

In the main courses, you can choose between traditional sashimi or nigiri with your choice of seafood or fish, or Pearl special sashimi with rockfish, duck breast or seared salmon. They also serve nice Temaki hand rolls and Sushi rolls with your choice of fillings.

There are some great choices in desserts including hot molten chocolate cake, baked vanilla bean cheesecake, black and white chocolate mousse, strawberry, banana and crème anglaise spring roll with burnt orange sauce. They also serve homemade ice creams and sorbets with varying flavors.
There is a Sushi happy hour on Mondays - Fridays between 5pm to 6:30pm.
