Located in the heart of St. George Bermuda at the King's Square, George and Dragon is a combination of a restaurant and a sports bar. The lively and contemporary sports bar is at the downstairs. There are number of large plasma TVs sowing all kinds of sports channels here. You get English pub fares like Fish and Chips, Sandwiches etc. at the bar.
The upstairs is more formal and they serve nice international cuisine. During night time with dim lights, this place looks more elegant. There is a balcony upstairs that overlooks the King's Square. It's a perfect place for people watching. The building in which this restaurant is located is one of the oldest in St. George belonging to 18th century. It has been renovated and nicely done up now.
Greek salad made with large chunks of feta cheese topped with tender calamari with a chili cilantro dip is really special here and our favorite.
Fish dishes from catch of the day and seafood are quite popular here. The restaurant makes some of the best salads in St. George that includes avocado, Chef's special, Greek salad, Mexican, Caesar and such. Other very popular dishes here includes the Angus beef and rack of lamb. The portions are large and service is good. They also have deli food and a take out section. George and Dragon is a kids friendly restaurant and is quite popular with the families. They have family special menu as well.
You will also get some essential items here like camera film rolls, sunglasses, canned cold drinks etc. They accept credit cards. Reservation is recommended for dinner.
