Clarien Bank Bermuda
Clarien Bank is one of the new banks in Bermuda that was licensed in 2001. The bank offers services like Personal Banking, Lending, Business Banking, Private Banking etc. Some of the main features include: 24-hour online banking services, free bank transfers, online bill payments, wireless transfers, email and mobile phone alerts, debit and credit cards. The bank is specialized in loan and deposit products. It offers savings and deposit products in both Bermuda and U.S. currencies.
Clarien Investment, Bermuda
This is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clarien Bank Limited. Clarien Investments Limited offers services like discretionary investment management, mutual funds and financial planning. The services are available to individuals, families and corporate. Clarien Investment has recently amalgamated with another private investment services company called Kast Investment to expand their operations. In 2010, they have over 400 clients and $650 million of total asset under management.
Based on analysis of the client profile, they offer an investment roadmap that takes into account clients long term goals including income and liquidity requirement, capital preservation, target time line and such. Clarien also re-balances the portfolio so that the asset mix stays on target to achieve the goals. They also appoint a private client manager for quarterly consultation and reviews.
Clarien Trust Bermuda
Clarien Trust limited is also a wholly owned subsidiary of Clarien Bank Limited. The operations of the company is regulated by Bermuda Monetary Authority which is Bermuda's financial regulatory body.
The company offers trust administration services to individuals, families and charitable organizations. Clarien Trust Limited appoints qualified trust officers who in turn work closely with third party specialists such as lawyers, investment managers and accountants as and when they are required for effective Trust management services.
Bermuda based trust management is quite flexible and enables the residents and even the offshore companies to effectively do financial planning and grow their wealth. Bermuda's trust management standards are comparable to that of the US and UK.
