Bermuda Weather in May
May is when the summer starts in Bermuda. This is the month when the temperature rises and generally stays between an average high of 76 degree Fahrenheit to a low of 69 degree. The water temperature also jumps to 75 degree. This is the month when many Bermudians take their first dip into water in the year. However, the humidity also starts rising and can be well over 76% on certain days. So it can be unpleasantly warm at times.
Cruise ships carrying loads of tourists start docking at the Bermuda ports (mostly at the Royal Naval Dockyard) during May. Month of May marks the start of the cruise season and therefore the tourist population in this tiny island also starts to swell.
