Bermuda wins scuba diving awards

There is no better place in the world than Bermuda for a lifetime experience in diving or even snorkeling.
World's best shipwrecks, spectacular marine life and some of the best coral reefs are all here in Bermuda waters.
This has been proven once again by the 2010 Readers Choice Awards of Scuba Diving Magazine that conducted a survey for Caribbean and Atlantic region.
The survey was conducted in 2009 and included more than 5000 scuba diving readers all over the globe who gave the rankings. So how did Bermuda stand?
First in Wreck Diving
Third in Snorkeling
Third in Beginners Diving
That's a fabulous record. Premier and Minister of Tourism and Transport Dr. Ewart Brown said: "We consider it an honor for Bermuda to be recognized by the readers of Scuba Diving Magazine. This is also a reminder to all Bermudians that we must respect and preserve our beautiful reefs and wrecks for all to enjoy."
