This is a family run casual and friendly restaurant where you can find a lot of local Bermudians. The restaurant is located in Southampton Parish right on Middle road and can easily be reached by bus #8 that operates between Hamilton and Royal Naval Dockyard.

If you are looking for a budget restaurant serving homemade food and frequented by locals, then this one could be a great choice.
The inside ambience is simple but with combinations of pink and blue, the interior looks quite charming. The restaurant inside is quite spacious as well.

As you walk in you can see the long curving counter on one side. Instead of dining on a table, you can choose to sit on the tall stools at the counter and have your meals there. Many locals actually do that.
The restaurant serves breakfast (all day), lunch as well as dinner. The menu is quite extensive, particularly for dinner. They also serve Sunday Brunch and has won awards for codfish breakfast.
In breakfast, you get eggs made to order, toast, muffins, pancakes and even specials like steak and eggs, corn beef and eggs and fish cakes etc. Breakfast favorites here includes homemade banana pancake, French toasts, omelets etc.
In lunch the menu mostly includes sandwiches of various types (including fish sandwich, roast beef, roasted turkey, cheese and lot more), salads, wraps, club sandwiches etc. Try out the turkey burgers.
In dinner you can start with homemade soup of Bermuda fish chowder. While they offer various types of burgers, the seafood dishes like the pan fried wahoo or pan fried rockfish take the center stage. Also some of the local favorites here include the lamb or chicken roti (warm wraps in tortilla).
Other nice items includes curry chicken with rice, roast beef, hash cakes, meat loaf, barbecue pork ribs, fish & chips, etc. Pasta is also available (in fact you can create your own pasta composition).
In desserts try out pumpkin pie or chocolate cream pie. Ice cream is also available. They have a nice kids menu as well. Alcohol is served. Take out is available and is always made ready in time.
The staff are very friendly and cooperative. There is parking available in front.

Island Cuisine is located in Southampton parish on Middle Road and just east of Heron Bay Market Place. Bus #8 passes by the restaurant and it's easy to reach.
If you are putting up at Hotel Fairmont Southampton, walk up to the Middle road and take a short bus ride (3 minutes). You can also walk from the hotel to the restaurant ... will take about 22 - 23 minutes.
