Blue Lagoon Island (Salt Cay) is located only 3 miles away from Nassau. The award winning Dolphin Encounters center is operated by a local family at Blue Lagoon Island since 1989. Over time they have expanded their operations and currently offer several programs including Dolphin Interaction, Dolphin Encounter and recently introduced Sea Lion Encounter programs apart from others like Beach Day etc.

A double decker catamaran will transport you across Nassau Harbor to Blue Lagoon Island in about 20 minutes. Depending on the program you choose, you can swim and interact with Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins or California Sea Lions in waist deep water... the experience is simply amazing. You will be swimming, kissing, hugging and playing with these amazing aquatic animals. You will also learn about their habitat and finally take back home a video or photos to remember.

Another package offers a Beach Day where you can relax on a beautiful pristine beach in Blue Lagoon Island, swim in the blue waters of the lagoon, enjoy water sports like paddle boarding, snorkeling or underwater scooter etc, have a grilled lunch with tropical drinks etc. The Sting Ray Encounter program allows you to see, touch and even feed sting rays.
