Tennis in Paget Bermuda
There are resorts and hotels in Paget parish that have great tennis courts. While they are mostly available free for the guests, the non-guests can also play by paying hourly rates. Many have pro shops and also provide coaching lessons from expert trainers. Here are best options for tennis in Paget Bermuda:
Coral Beach and Tennis Club is a private club for members and has the best tennis facilities in Bermuda. As a non-member you can book coaching lessons here for $95 an hour or play games through a club member. There are 8 clay courts all of ATP standards and three of them are lit up at nights. There are several pros and veterans who provide coaching lessons.
You need to be on white tennis attire. A pro shop here sells t-shirts and other clothing with club's logo imprinted, tennis balls, racquets etc.

Elbow Beach Hotel has five Plexi-pave hard courts. Two of them are lit up at nights with floodlights. There is a resident pro who is an ex Bermuda Davis Cup player and provides coaching lessons (at an hourly rate of $75). There is a Pro Shop selling t-shirts, balls, cold drinks etc.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling in Paget Bermuda
Blue Water Divers and Watersports is a diving shop having PADI 5-Star IDC facility and Bermuda’s longest running dive operation. In Paget, they operate out of the Elbow Beach. It gives you great access to some of Bermuda’s exciting wrecks and coral reefs. You can also Kayak out to Bermuda's one of the well known shipwrecks
Pollockshields, a 1915 German wreck which lies close to the shore.
Sail Bermuda's Captain Zuill operates "Shekynah", a 51-foot Morgan charter sail boat. The boat can accommodate 25 passengers and takes you to some great offshore areas for snorkeling.
Walking, Hiking and Running in Paget Bermuda
Bermuda Railway Trail passes through Paget Parish. This part of the trail goes through scenic neighborhoods and is great for running, walking and even cycling. The trail starts from Trimingham Hill on South Road. There are signs here to enter the trail.
As you get into the trail through a small tunnel, you will pass by Grape Bay,
Paget Marsh and can see the skyline of Hamilton City at a distance. Although the trail crosses main roads a few times, it quickly reenters quiet areas and passes through farming lands and spice forests.
Mid Atlantic Athletic Club Bermuda (MAAC) is a recreational road running club in Bermuda and has been organizing 2-4 mile fun runs in
Botanical Gardens in Paget over the years. The runners meet near the car park on Tuesdays at 6pm during the summer months, and take the loop route along the boundary of the garden.
MAAC is affiliated to Bermuda Track and Field Association (BTFA) and organizes many other running events including BTFA supported road races, a club championship series, a Junior series, a track night during winter and a fun Christmas turkey trot. Phone: 441/236-9586
Kids and Family Activities in Paget Bermuda
In Botanical Gardens, ducks and parrots are kept in enclosures behind the
Camden House. Kids usually love this place. There is also a grassy hill here great for tumbling and playing hide and seek. Towards the western side, there are rubber trees. Children enjoy climbing the low branches, walking through the trees and swinging on the hanging roots. There is also a maze garden here.
If you are in Bermuda in April and can time it right, don't miss out on the
Bermuda Annual Exhibition held at the Botanical gardens. Opposite to the Camden House area is the Tucker's Estate where there are more ducks and rubber trees. Although it's a family owned vast private estate, they open it to children and tourists to take a stroll. If you love beach activities, head for
Elbow beach located in Paget. It's one of the most popular beaches in Bermuda.
